After suffering a stroke last year, "Britain's Got Talent" alum Susan Boyle has made a long journey back to the stage. Boyle, 62, took the stage at the BGT season 16 finale on Sunday where she sings "I Dreamed a Dream" with the cast of Les Miserables West End. The song was sung by Boyle as a BGT contestant in 2009, and her career skyrocketed. Boyle said her return to the "BGT" stage was "really great" and that it was a special moment because she suffered a stroke in April of last year.
"She fought like crazy to get back on stage and now she's accomplished it, " she said of Boyle. "BGT" creator and judge Simon Cowell praised her Boyle for her comeback despite her health risks. Boyle shared a photo of "BGT" on her return to Instagram, where she talked about how her stroke had affected her singing ability.
